How To Pack For Residential Treatment

Patient Access Code (PAC)
  • Patient Access Code(PAC) (your unique alias code) so that your family, loved ones, visitors, and doctors can contact you. They must have your PAC to contact/visit you.
  • You will receive this code upon admissions.
  • This code is very important!
  • You can request your code from your clinical staff if you lose or forget it.
Items To Bring For Women's Short-Term
  • 1 Light jacket/rain jacket/cardigan
  • 7 T-shirts
  • 7 Pairs of jeans
  • 1 Dress top
  • 1 Pair of dress pants
  • 10 Pairs of panties
  • 7 Bras
  • 10 Pairs of socks
  • 2 Pair of tennis shoes
  • 1 Pair of dress shoes (flats no heels)
  • 1 Pair of flip flops/shower shoes
  • 3 Towels & wash cloths
  • Women should also bring their feminine products i.e. tampons/pads

CLOTHING MUST NOT HAVE PROFANITY OR IMAGES CONTAINING NUDITY

Items To Bring For Men's Short-Term

Dress Code

Our dress code is set to promote a therapeutic atmosphere and to promote the healing process. The following items are prohibited due to state or federal laws and by the policies of Recovery Health Systems:

  • Tank tops/halter tops
  • Short skirts/mini-skirts
  • Undershirts worn as outer shirt
  • Bare-foot (i.e. everyone must wear shoes in common areas).
  • Hats, caps, beanies, or any coverings being worn indoors not approved by the Director or clinicians.
  • Steel toed shoes/boots and hi-heels/pumps.
  • Clothing displaying vulgar language and/or images, drug and/or alcohol use, drug paraphernalia, sexual imagery, profanity, violence, and/or any advertisements for gambling or the promotion of gambling.

  • Illegal drugs
  • Any non-prescibed scheduled substance
  • Alcohol
  • NO alcohol-based products (soaps, lotions, cologne/perfume, etc.)
  • Mouthwash containing alcohol
  • Cigarettes
  • Vapes
  • Tobacco
  • Nicotine products
  • Drug paraphernalia
  • Pornographic material
  • Guns and/or firearms
  • Knives
  • Otherwise any material, substance, or item deemed harmful or not conducive to the clinical environment of Recovery Health Systems
